Professionally

Tim Stackis, DC: “I am an objective, straight chiropractor. As such, Life Chiropractic’s approach is to locate vertebral subluxations and introduce a gentle force so that your body may make the correction. This correction then allows your brain to properly communicate — to control and regulate — your chemical-producing organs and glands. When your body chemistry is in balance — and ONLY when your body chemistry is in balance — your body can function properly. And when your body functions properly, it can perform the way it was designed to perform: at optimum levels.”

Dr. Stackis has been practicing chiropractic since 1989. Initially, after earning his DC degree, he established a practice in Hermosa Beach, CA, then Cornelius, NC. Stackis: “Both places were wonderful. But, while we loved the people and the locations — they were just great! — we had a vision of our life surrounded by family. That’s why we moved back to Dubuque in 2004 and opened Life Chiropractic.”

Personally

Dr. Tim is dad to three beautiful (fun) kids … all currently in high school. He loves loving them, encouraging their academic efforts, and supporting their other activities, including volleyball, basketball, cross country, and more.

Sports Fandom

After attending college at UW-Madison — and with sincere apologies to Iowans — he finds himself continuing to be a Badger fan “…although you’ll find me cheering on the Hawkeyes when they’re not playing Wisconsin. Go Badgers!”
